The MaHei (Marbeck to Heiden) and HeiDo (Heiden to Dorsten) pipelines are needed for the conversion of the local service area from L-gas to H-gas and they can also be used for various H2 projects in and around Dorsten.

Planning status
The MaHei and HeiDo pipeline construction projects have received planning approval from the relevant regulatory authority (Münster district government). This means that the pipeline construction projects have been approved under public law and may now go ahead. The main construction work for the pipelines will start in spring 2026.
