WKL H₂ pipeline construction project
Wilhelmshaven Coast Line – the starting point for hydrogen transport from the north to the west
The Wilhelmshaven Coast Line along the coast of Wilhelmshaven connects the important northern import corridor as well as national producers and consumers of hydrogen.

Along with other national gas network operators, OGE has been tasked by the Federal Network Agency and the German government to develop a Germany-wide hydrogen core network. Together with the North Sea Ruhr Link, the Wilhelmshaven Coast Line will be a central transmission route for hydrogen from the northern coastal regions to the north-west of Germany.
The Wilhelmshaven Coast Line will run for some 11 kilometres from the north to the south of Wilhelmshaven almost exclusively through industrial areas.
